Dr. Liren Wong graduated from the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences of RMIT with a Double Bachelor Degree (Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Bachelor of Health Science), and is a qualified Remedial Massage and Myotherapist which (advanced diploma at MIMT).

Dr. Wong grew up in a traditional Chinese family with a Chinese Medicine background, learning from his grandfather who successfully treated critically ill patients in the She(畲) minority village (Fuan, Fujian Province), where his fame as an effective and trusted doctor spread. 

 Registered with CMASA and ANTA, Dr. Wong is an active member of the committee of the Victoria branch of CMASA since 2024.

Dr. Wong has assisted many patients through the hardship of the COVID-19 epidemics at his Greensborough clinic, gaining a strong reputation in his community. He has also continues to support Youth Disability Sport, which he has done for many years.

 Nowadays he uses classic Chinese Medicine Theory theory and Practice (i.e. a focus on pulse diagnosis) to guide his acupuncture and herbal application, one of them being Huang Medicine Pulse technique which has a heritage of more than one thousand years and been taught by Dr. Wencheng Wang (honorable chairman of CMASA). 

Dr. Wong’s treatment focus includes: headache, dizziness, anxiety and depression, stiff neck and shoulder, lower back pain (i.e. Sciatica, slipped or degenerated disc), soft tissues injury, infertility, IVF support, skin lesion, reflux, abdominal pain (i.e.period pain), arthritic, Gynaecology issues, cancer support (i.e appetite reduction during chemo or radio therapy), and so on. 

Treatment philosophy: Utilising a combination of advice regarding life style change, meditation, Qigong exercise etc. to provide a solid foundation for holistic healing.
